Society of Anaesthetists of the South Western Region – Virtual Scientific Meeting 2020

The Society of Anaesthetists of the South Western Region (SASWR) exists to bring together professionals in the region for education, professional development, and sharing of ideas. This was achieved last week through the delivery of their first Virtual Scientific Meeting which EMD are very proud to have helped them organise.

The conference was originally planned to be a hybrid event with the speakers streaming their talks from one location, unfortunately due to the current situation and government guidelines this was not possible. The conference then was quickly migrated to a fully virtual event with ease.

The meeting was a fantastic success with over 200 delegates tuning in to hear talks about topics such as COVID, Patient Choice In Obstetrics, Paediatric Anaesthesia, Global Healthcare and much more.
